Since our founding in 1947, we at the Tokyo Boeki Group have functioned as an independent business corporation and we have built a unique position for ourselves.

Then, on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of our founding in October 2007, we switched to our unique management system, called Tokyo Boeki Group Federated Management, with the aim of achieving new growth and development in the Tokyo Boeki Group and as a result we have taken the first step toward even greater vitality in the group. Tokyo Boeki Group Federated Management is a management system like a solar system in which the diverse group companies are each able to develop independently while at the same time sharing the same management philosophy, values and aspirations, thus increasing the competitiveness and presence of the overall group and providing value to our customers.

Since April 2009 we have been aiming to establish Tokyo Boeki Group Federated Management in the second medium-term management plan in order to realize further maximization of corporate value and enduring growth and development. The Tokyo Boeki Group is comprised of four industrial groups: the “energy-related machinery industry,” the “resources, iron and steel, and materials industry,” the “technology, automobiles and information industry,” and the “science, medical care and lifestyle industry” (a total of 17 companies including ten domestic companies and seven overseas companies). In these industrial sectors we provide unique functions and services ranging from product and technology development to business construction and business partnerships, and we are working hard to evolve and develop from a “trading company” to a “business-creating company.”

With the strong aspiration of wanting to provide the value sought by the world from a global perspective, our group is aiming to satisfy our customers and create products and services that meet their needs.

Tokyo Boeki Group has adopted the motto “Active all over the world” and the entire group will work together with its customers throughout the world in order to contribute to their development as much as possible.
