As the “Purpose” of the “Management Axis of Tokyo Boeki Group” specifies, sustainability for Tokyo Boeki Group means maximizing “contribution to the sustainable development of society” and “pursuit of the happiness of Tokyo Boeki Group employees, both materially and spiritually” through our business.

Tokyo Boeki Group has been in business for 75 years, and since its establishment, it has realized solutions to social issues through its business and has expanded and grown its business base. In the early years, we addressed social issues such as energy and food supply and security, supported the lives of the people in the postwar period, generated profits in the process, and turned them into the company’s strengths, and have continued to provide solutions to other issues facing society, leading to today’s sustainable growth through the Showa, Heisei, and Reiwa eras. Currently, Tokyo Boeki Group has 16 companies in Japan and overseas, and each company is highly aware of sustainable social development and is making various efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the 17 international goals for sustainable development adopted by the United Nations General Assembly on September 25, 2015.

At the same time, Tokyo Boeki Group has always regarded people as human assets since its establishment, and has created an environment where employees can work for a long time. Happiness for Tokyo Boeki Group employees means working with autonomy (intrinsic motivation), and the prerequisites for this are a culture that allows free and vigorous exchange of opinions and an environment in which work can be evaluated fairly. To enable diverse employees to respect each other and maximize their individual abilities, the Group is promoting the development of an environment that includes training, fair evaluation, welfare benefits, and health promotion for the employees.
